What certifications does your team have?
Our scaffolders are licensed to perform high-risk work, ranging from basic to advanced levels. Moreover, our team members hold additional licenses, including Medium or Heavy Rigid vehicle licenses, forklift licenses, riggers licenses, police checks, among others. Every onsite staff member possesses OH&S Induction cards, either White or Red Cards, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times.
Do you have current Public Liability Certificate and Work Cover insurance?
Yes. Reliable Access maintains current Public Liability insurance ($10 million) and Work Cover insurance on all our staff. We will provide certificates of currency and SWMS etc to clients upon request.
Do you sign off scaffolding on completion?
Yes, Reliable Access provides a tag on the scaffolding. Our site mandates specific requirements for all onsite workers.
How do I arrange a free scaffolding hire quote?

Do you accommodate for site inductions or other licensing requirements?
Yes. Reliable Access works on sites that have special conditions that require our staff to obtain security clearances (police checks), undertake site inductions and special training courses.
Are onsite visits arranged free of charge for scaffolding hire quotations in Melbourne?

What is the shortest hire duration offered for scaffolding rental in Melbourne?
Scaffolding rental periods can be for one day, although the standard minimum duration is usually one week on average.
Can you install my scaffolding outside normal business hours?
Yes. We understand that builders often require installations and dismantle outside normal business hours. We are happy to arrange installations and dismantles on weekends, night shifts, outside our normal business hours. Please let us know at the time of your quote if you require works undertaken outside normal business hours.
How can I confirm my scaffold hire installation?
Scaffolding installations are confirmed by signing the quote or conformation in writing. We require you to confirm your scaffolding installation date with the conformation prior to installation. Please note: Bookings are not confirmed until all paperwork has been received and rescheduling is subject to availability.
What is the recommended booking lead time for scaffolding?
Generally, it takes about a 7 to 10 working days to book your scaffolding installation. However, these estimates are subject to change based on demand. Urgent bookings may be accommodated depending on availability. During busy periods such as Christmas and Easter, we recommend you plan ahead.

How do I off-hire my scaffold hire and arrange dismantle?
Your hire charges will continue as per your quote until your off-hire request is received. You can off-hire your scaffold hire by email or speaking directly with your estimator. Once you have off-hired your scaffold, Reliable Access will schedule your dismantle from the date you nominated it is ready. It is important to ensure your site is ready for us to access, dismantle and collect the scaffolding by 4 x 4 fork lift or crane truck. Additional charges may apply if you’re still using scaffolding when we turn up.
Do I need insurance to cover scaffolding on my construction site?
Yes, the client assumes responsibility for all scaffolding from the installation date until it’s collected. Reliable Access reserves the right to charge the client for any lost or damaged scaffolding during the hire period. While building insurance often covers scaffolding loss or damage during construction, it’s advisable to confirm coverage before hiring scaffolding.
Do you sell scaffolding?
No, we don’t. We only hire out scaffolding systems throughout Melbourne and greater Victoria.
When are you open?
Office hours are 6:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday (excluding Public Holidays & Christmas period).
Our onsite scaffolding crew operate between 7:30am-4:00pm Monday- Friday.
Please note that times may vary due to weather, demand, and other factors.
Onsite works outside of regular hours can be arranged upon request at the time of the quote.

You’ll find us in Melbourne, but our scaffolding crews work all across Victoria.

What are your payment methods?
We gladly accept EFT deposit, company cheque and cash payments. Credit cards, Visa, Master card etc.
Does my site need ladder access?
Yes. Ladder access is mandated by Australian safety regulations for all scaffolding systems.
How high should my scaffolding be?
The type and size of scaffold required will vary depending on the scope and purpose of the project. Scaffolding for painting a two-storey house will be vastly different to scaffolding for building an apartment block. Below are a common scaffolding application and their recommended scaffolding type and size: Two Storey House: 1.2 meters wide x 4.0 meters high top platform and a platform below at 2.0 meters of Steel Scaffolding.
